Your company needs working capital, but where will it come from? How do you differentiate between angel investors and venture capital needs from other lending options such as banks and Far West Capital? You may remember an earlier blog post, explaining these options, but take another look at your options below. (more…)

Banks are back–but will they help your company?

Tuesday, April 5th, 2011

The banks have recently increased their lending practices, but they’ve definitely learned from the market crisis of 2008–most notably, their need for higher amounts of capital to weather the ups and downs of the economy. The Importance of Small Businesses

Tuesday, March 1st, 2011

I recently read a great article, or more specifically a memo to President Obama, that lays out the problems of small businesses very clearly. Although small businesses “account for half of all private-sector jobs in America, and more than 60 percent of the new jobs generated in the past decade,” their struggles are ignored even though they could be a key component to improving the economy.
